The residents of Marion County live in neighborhoods that are unique, from the community assets they posses to the people who live there. During the fall of 2010, the Barth for Council Campaign is hosting a series of meetings with neighbors across Indianapolis to hear ideas on how our neighborhoods can be strengthened to ensure we have safe places to work, live, play, and enjoy family.

Thank you to everyone who attended the John Barth for City/County Council event that took place on April 11, 2010 at Brugge Brasserie in Broad Ripple. We had a great turnout and the event sparked much discussion about strengthening neighborhoods in Indianapolis, including John’s ideas for neighborhood-directed economic development and citizen activation. Special thanks to the event co-sponsors Joe Smith Jr., Taylor Kumler, Kelley Teller, Melanie Priest, Liz Pinnick, and Kate Shoup.
