John Brings Attention to Neighborhood Issue

February 26, 2011

John  participated in a press conference with Mayoral Candidate Melina Kennedy aimed at bringing attention to the plan to construct a flood wall along the East side of the White River Canal that threatens the beauty of the mid-north neighborhoods and could affect access and use of the Central Canal. John strongly supports Melina’s position to stop this proposal from advancing until there is further review and discussion.” Good planning requires interactive input from neighbors and John will be attending upcoming meetings to work to find a solution that works for the whole community. The event was covered by both Channel 13 and the Indianapolis Star.

A big thank you to all my volunteers and supporters for their hard work leading up to and during the Slating Convention held on February 12, 2011.
